Strategic Partnership with CRPF
Sri Venkateswaraa College of Technology, located in Vadakkal near Sriperumbudur, has established a significant strategic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The agreement was formalized by CRPF DIG Moses Dinakaran and the college's Vice Chairman, B.Haribabu.
This collaborative framework focuses on two primary objectives:
- Educational Support: Provision of dedicated seats in B.E. and B.Tech engineering programs for the children of CRPF personnel, ensuring high-quality technical education for the families of those serving the nation.
- Knowledge Exchange: Facilitation of technology exchange and collaborative research initiatives between the institution's engineering departments and the CRPF's technical wings.
Marking the commencement of this partnership, Vice Chairman B.Haribabu presented the order for free admission to the Computer Engineering course for the academic year 2023-24 to student M. Shanmuga Priya, daughter of former CRPF personnel S. Munikrishnan. The ceremony was attended by CRPF Inspector V. Muruganathan and Coordinator V. Harikrishna.

National Seminar: Mechanical Engineering Innovations
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at SVCT Vadakal hosted a high-profile national-level one-day seminar focusing on contemporary industrial trends. The event featured Professor Mohal from Anna University as the Guest of Honour, along with Dr. Ananth as a special invitee.
The session was inaugurated with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by the college Vice Chairman, B.Haribabu. A key highlight of the seminar was the industrial visit to the Renault Nissan plant located in Oragadam, allowing participants to witness advanced automotive manufacturing processes first-hand.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates by Vice Chairman Dr. Srinivasan and Vice Chairman Balasubramanian to the participating students and faculty members.

Cultural Milestone: "Gudiyam Caves" Film Launch
Sri Venkateswaraa College of Technology hosted the official launch ceremony for the short film "Gudiyam Caves". The event brought together notable figures from the Indian film industry, reflecting the institution's commitment to supporting creative arts and heritage documentation.
The ceremony was attended by the acclaimed late Director S.P. Jananathan, National Award-winning Editor Lenin, and the college Vice Chairman B.Haribabu. Short film director Ramesh Chandra and cinematographer Vasanth Kumar also participated in the session, sharing their insights on the historical significance of the Gudiyam Caves.

SVCT has consistently prioritized industrial synergy to enhance the employability of its graduates. A key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry requirements, providing students with skill-based training and career placement support.

3rd Annual Graduation Ceremony
The 3rd Graduation Day of Sri Venkateswaraa College of Technology was celebrated with academic fervor under the chairmanship of B.Haribabu. The ceremony was graced by C. Kamaraj (IAS), Managing Director of the State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation, who conferred degrees upon the graduating batch.
Distinguished guests included former AICTE advisor K. Subramanian and former MLA C.H. Sekhar. The event also saw the participation of Trust Chairperson H. Pushpalatha, Vice Chairperson K. Sujithra, and Secretary V. Karthik.
